Clinical Research Studies

Research studies are conducted at the Psychological Center to support our program’s commitment to furthering the science of clinical psychology.

Studies Currently Recruiting Participants

MAPme - Research for Students By Students

MAPme is a research initiative that explores the intersection of biology, cognitive abilities, and personality traits with lifestyle behaviors and mental health. Our mission is to facilitate community partnerships between students and researchers, by engaging, educating, and empowering future scientists.

We are currently recruiting faculty members to incorporate MAPme into their classrooms thereby engaging more students in health psychology research. By participating, students can engage in cutting-edge research while earning assignment credit. In return, faculty members will gain access to valuable data and insights about their students, enhancing future lessons and potentially their own research.

TReAD Lab Studies

The Translational Research in Affective Disorders (TReAD) Lab studies the behavioral and neurobiological determinants of cost/benefit decision-making in healthy individuals, as well as in patients with mental illness. Our research focuses on the neural circuitry that underlies decision-making and how abnormalities in these processes relate to and manifest as core symptoms in affective disorders, like major depressive disorder. To participate in our research, please complete the appropriate interest survey

Glutamate/Ketamine Study

The TReAD Lab is currently conducting research investigating neuroimaging markers of response to ketamine.
