The Emory University Psychological Center is a part of the Department of Psychology. The Center and its clinic were established to serve as an internship facility for advanced clinical graduate students, and to provide psychological and counseling services to the Atlanta community.

The Clinical Science program is fully accredited by both the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System (PCSAS).

The program is committed to excellence in clinical science training and using the best available evidence-based methods of assessment and treatment in the provision of clinical services. Research studies are also conducted at the Psychological Center to support our program’s commitment to furthering the science of clinical psychology.

The clinic is staffed by advanced doctoral candidates in Emory University’s Clinical Science Program who work under the close supervision of Emory’s clinical faculty and associated licensed psychologists. Students accepted into Emory’s clinical program are among the best graduates from highly competitive colleges and universities throughout the country. They join the staff and begin seeing clients at the Psychological Center only after they have successfully completed strict academic requirements.
