Psychological Evaluation
At this time, we are accepting applications for psychological evaluation for the Fall 2024 semester. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis, with limited availability. Please see below for the applications and instructions on how to submit your application to our testing team.
We provide low-cost psychological evaluations to both children and adults. To obtain an evaluation, the process involves completing a screening form and a brief phone intake with our senior clinician. It is also possible to complete the screening form on the phone with the senior clinician.
A psychological evaluation includes a formal assessment of an individual’s academic and cognitive strengths and weaknesses, as well as overall social and emotional well-being. An assessment with us would be appropriate for questions about possible learning disorders (reading, writing, math), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and any other concerns impacting performance at school or work. We do not evaluate for Autism Spectrum Disorder specifically. We recommend contacting the Emory Autism Center or Marcus Autism Center for this type of evaluation.

Limited Availability
We receive more requests for testing than we have spaces for each semester. Availability of assessment services is limited by the training needs of our students, and decisions are not made on a first-come, first-served basis. If we do not have availability, or it is determined that other resources would be more helpful to you, appropriate referrals will be provided.
Timeline
Testing consists of an initial interview via Zoom and additional appointments for in-person testing. At the conclusion of the evaluation, clients will receive feedback via Zoom as well as a written final report.
We begin testing three times a year, at the beginning of the fall, spring and summer terms, with final reports generally sent by the end of the term.
- Fall Term: September to December
- Spring Term: January to April
- Summer Term: May to August
We cannot guarantee the completion of final reports before the end of the term. If you need a report by a specific date, you will need to contact a private practice licensed psychologist.
Fee and Payment Instructions
If you are accepted for an evaluation, the full fee will be $850. This fee shall be paid in two payments: a non-refundable deposit of $150 is required within one week of your acceptance to hold your spot, and the balance payment of $700 is automatically processed by our office after the first evaluation session has taken place. The office administrator will contact you via DocuSign with a Payment Authorization form so we may process the payments.
