Biography
Dr. Messina received her B.S. in Biological Sciences from Cornell University in 1979 and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Emory University in 1987. She completed her clinical internship at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She is a licensed psychologist who has supervised clinical psychology graduate students and maintained a small clinical practice at Emory since 1987. She has served as the Clinic Director of the Emory University Psychological Center for many years.
