Factorial ANOVA

Structure and Analysis

This tutorial is designed to help you understand the structure of factorial analysis of variance (ANOVA). The tutorial begins with an overview of factorial ANOVA. It is followed by a demonstration of the calculations needed for factorial ANOVA. Once you understand how to set up the factorial ANOVA, you should test your knowledge by doing the calculations.

This tutorial assumes that you know the basic logic of analysis of variance. It is not designed to teach you factorial ANOVA but to review how to set up and perform the calculations for factorial ANOVA.

Students enrolled in PSYC230 - Elementary Statistics - who wish to receive extra credit for doing the tutorial should take the quiz posted on the Blackboard at Emory class site.
