Dr. Walker is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. She received her B.A. in Psychology at Washington University in 1974, and her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Missouri in 1979. Prior to coming to Emory, she was Associate Professor at Cornell University. Dr. Walker has been at Emory since 1986.
